Wiadomość o śmierci otrzymaliśmy od Jego bliskich, dzielimy się nią z Państwem:

„It is with great sadness that I write on behalf of the Kor family to inform you of the passing of Latvian Holocaust Survivor Rachmiel „Mickey” Kor, a brave and triumphant survivor of the Riga Ghetto, KL Kaiserwald, KL Stuthoff , and KL Buchenwald.Born October 24, 1924, in Riga, Latvia, Mickey was liberated by the US Army’s 250th Combat Engineer’s Battalion, who took care of him and kept him with their unit as an unofficial interpreter. He emmigrated to the United States in 1946, about a year after his liberation. He became a US citizen, graduated from Purdue University School of Pharmacy, served as a pharmacist for the US Army, and was a loving husband to Eva and proud father to Alex and Rina. Music and sports were his biggest passions.Above all, he was a beautiful soul who did not let his experiences in the Holocaust keep him from being kind to all he met.May his memory be a blessing.”
