“Expansion, reconstruction, and adaptation of the Villa Musica building, along with the construction of a permanent exhibition and development of the surrounding area for the future seat of the Piaśnickie Museum in Wejherowo, at Ofiar Piaśnicy 6”
CO-FINANCING: PLN 23 433 757,26

Task description: The goal of the investment is to adapt the historic residential building – the pre-war villa of Dr. Franciszek Pank at Ofiar Piaśnicy 6 in Wejherowo (currently named “Villa Musica”) – for museum purposes. During World War II, it was the residence of the local Selbstschutz commander and his staff. From this location, executions carried out by the Germans on civilians in the Piaśnica Forest in the fall of 1939 were directed. The planned expansion will enable the Piaśnickie Museum to begin its operations by adapting the building’s functions to the needs of a museum. Currently, the Villa Musica building has a total usable floor area of 492.68 m². After modernization, the total usable floor area of the building is expected to be approximately 915 m². The increase in area is necessary to create educational and exhibition spaces, as well as archival, storage, and technical facilities.
